Designed for the site

Local context changes the right answer

Boundary positions, neighbouring properties, ground levels, access, mature trees and service routes can all affect the design before planning is considered.

Sites near conservation areas, listed buildings or protected landscapes may require a more sensitive architectural and planning response. We establish the likely route before fixing the quotation.

What we build locally

Three routes, each with different questions

The building should be designed around its use and approval route, rather than treated as the same product in a different size.

01

Garden rooms

Year-round offices, gyms, studios and leisure rooms with foundations, services and comfort considered together.

02

Family annexes

Ancillary accommodation shaped around independence, accessibility, privacy and the relationship to the main home.

03

Private lodges

Larger leisure and accommodation buildings for suitable sites, with planning and technical strategy established early.

04

Specialist briefs

Golf rooms, wellness spaces, entertainment buildings and selected small commercial projects.

Questions clients ask

Buckinghamshire project questions

Clear early answers help define the right design, approval route and budget before detailed work begins.

01Do you offer site surveys in Buckinghamshire?

Yes. The current feasibility visit is £500 including VAT and is credited if the build contract is signed within 60 days. We confirm what the visit will cover before booking.

02Which Buckinghamshire areas do you cover?

Our core area includes Stokenchurch, High Wycombe, Marlow, Beaconsfield, Amersham, Aylesbury, Gerrards Cross and surrounding towns and villages. Send the postcode and we will confirm availability.

03Will my garden room need planning permission?

Some garden rooms may fall within permitted development, but height, position, intended use, the property and land designation can change the position. We review the site facts and recommend formal planning advice where needed.

04Can I visit Lodrix before deciding?

Visits are by appointment. Ask about current availability for a workshop, material or building viewing at or near our Stokenchurch base.

05How quickly can you provide a first response?

We aim to respond to complete enquiries within one working day. A postcode, intended use, approximate dimensions, photographs and preferred timing help us give a useful answer.

A local first step

Send the Buckinghamshire postcode and a few site photographs. We’ll tell you what to resolve first.

Share the location, intended use, approximate size and preferred timing. We will come back with the most practical next step.
